According to analyst Hideki Yasuda, PS5 could sell as many as six million units by March 2021, making a great start on the market.
According to Japanese analyst Hideki Yasuda of the Ace Research Institute in Osaka, PS5 could sell more than six million units by March 31, 2021, or by the end of the next fiscal year which will begin on April 1, 2020. Considering that PS5 should arrive on the market in autumn 2020 would be a very good start for the Sony console. Also according to Yasuda, the following year PS5 will sell at least 15 million units.
It should be noted that Yasuda’s analysis could not take into account the effects of the Coronavirus Chinese since it dates back to some time ago and has only been translated into English now. The problem, in this case, is that, as feared by many, the production of PS5 could be slowed by the spread of the epidemic, as indeed is happening to all the technological devices produced in China, the consoles currently on the market like Nintendo Switch buy.
In general, the arrival on the market of PS5 still remains a mystery. Sony has not officially unveiled its console, merely saying when it will hit the market. There is talk of an event dedicated to PS5 in April, but it is still to be confirmed. The same goes for the rival Xbox Series X, whose design we already know.
